Screen Printing on Fabric

Monday Mornings | 9.30-12.30 | £ 120 | 5 weeks

Explore the joys of screen printing onto textiles. Screen printing is a rewarding, colourful, creative, adaptable and fast technique! Sarah will introduce you to the magical experience of creating your own designs on fabric through screen printing. Over five weeks you will have ample time to develop designs and layer up colours.

Included in the cost is a tea towel, 2m of calico and either a tote bag, apron, babygrow or pillow case to print on. You will also be given instruction if you wish to bring your own items to print on, and it will be possible to buy extra items to use, from Sarah.

Designs can be intricate, random or abstract. Finished items will be colourfast and machine washable.

This is an excellent course for anyone wishing to develop their own textiles for garment creation, interior design, quilts and accessories for yourself and your home. No previous experience is required!

This course runs whenever Sarah has five consecutive weeks available! New dates are announced via the Cambridge Art Makers newsletter which you can sign up to here: https://www.cambridgemakers.org/newsletters/
