Jewellery & Silversmithing: Supervised Mixed Level
Friday Afternoons | 13.30-16.30 | £200 | 10 weeks
Do you love to create jewellery? Would you prefer to do it in a friendly, well-equipped space, with other people who share the same passion around you?
On this course you can work on your own jewellery projects supported by the guidance of master jeweller Elia Rizzo, with his training and experience from Florence; the centre for excellence in Jewellery making.
With a maximum of 8 participants in the class there will be time for Elia to share his attention equally and individually with each participant, and there will be opportunities to learn from each other too.
Please note that this is not a taught course and Elia will provide guidance and supervision as possible, but start-to-finish teaching will only be available during the morning course and short courses.
Some specific techniques will only be covered during dedicated short courses that cover particular techniques in detail. These must be booked separately according to availability. If there is a specific technique that you are interested in, please email us and we will let you known whether it can be supervised here or whether it will be covered by a specific short course.
This course runs for three terms every year, each term consists of 10 Friday afternoon classes. We take a break over half term.
This course is suitable for those with previous jewellery making experience.
A discounted rate is available if you book it along with the Friday morning session with Elia; Jewellery & Silversmithing: Structured Intermediate course.

Testimonials
“Elia is one of the most talented jewellers that I have had the pleasure of being tutored by.”
“The Gypsy Stone Setting jewellery course with Elia Rizzo was by far the best short course I have ever done. I am exhausted and delighted!” (she’s done a LOT of good short courses in her time!)
“It looks easy when Elia does the stone setting but there’s a lot to learn! Elia is a great teacher and made the course both interesting and rewarding. I can recommend the tutor, course and venue which are all excellent.”
