Willow for the Garden
with Debbie Hall
Wednesday 4th March 2020 | 10.00 – 16.30 | £95
In this willow workshop you will be using traditional basketmaking techniques and locally grown, fresh season, colourful, organic willow, to produce attractive and useful additions for any garden.
You will start by making small spiral lanterns or bird feeders, which don’t take long, and allow everyone to get used to the materials and techniques. You then move on to much bigger, spiral plant supports. Everyone will go home with a lantern / fatball bird feeder and a plant support, and if you turn out to be a speedy worker, you may well be able to manage two!
When you decide what form of transport to use to get you to this course, remember that the plant supports are fairly large (though not heavy) and you will have to get your beautiful creations home!
All tools and materials, tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided but please remember to bring a packed lunch.
This workshop is suitable for all levels of experience; beginners or those who want to refresh their skills.
