Tapestry weaving is a colourful and tactile method of creating a beautiful and unique textile. Paula will introduce you to tapestry weaving structure, vocabulary and processes using a simple wooden frame. You will learn how to use the colour wheel to blend yarns and create a small, textured and decorative piece of work.
This course is particularly intended for those considering joining the 6 week Tapestry Weaving course with Paula; an opportunity to find out what it is all about before committing to the the full exploration!
No previous experience is required.
Please note that this is woven tapestry, not sewing/embroidred tapestry.
Tea, coffee and biscuits are provided but please bring a packed lunch.
