Mini Makers – Screen Printing
with Sarah Ruff
***It is likely that we will move this course to May half term instead. Please email us to express your interest. email@example.com***
Ages 6+ | Tuesday 7th April | 13.30 – 16.30 | £40
Let your little ones get hands on and play with paint and produce jolly fabric bags and prints. Screen printing onto textiles is colourful, creative, adaptable and fast! Sarah will introduce your children to the magical experience of creating their own designs on fabric through screen printing. Designs can be intricate, random or abstract, drawing skills are not a requirement! Finished items will be colourfast and machine washable. Suitable for ages 6+.
A variety of items; mini tote bags, napkins tea towels and pillow cases, will be included in the price for them to print on. Children can also bring their own fabric, t-shirts or clothing to print on as long as they’re 100% cotton. If you are bringing your own, a lighter colour is best, plain or patterned.
If you have younger children that also need entertaining we are within walking distance of the Zoo and Spotted Giraffe soft play area so you can leave the big-little ones with us and head over there! We are also within walking distance of the Linton Kitchen if you need a good coffee and cake!
We do have our own lovely kitchen where refreshments will be available by donation if parents need to stay.
