Learn to Draw Taster | Tulip

with Emily Rose

Monday 24th May | 14.00 – 16.00 | £40

A relaxing and friendly workshop learning to draw a realistic detailed tulip with pastel pencils.

In this introductory class to pastel pencils, Emily Rose will guide you through the process of drawing this elegant Tulip flower. This is a perfect class for people who wish to try pastel pencils for the first time, or, who fancy a shorter class and a rewarding project.
This class will teach you how to build highlights, midtones and shadows, as well as some colour theory which will make your work more exciting and lively! The techniques you will learn are also transferable to other flowers which are perfect projects for practising with pastel pencils to gain control and master your techniques.
Emily teaches with a short demonstration followed by one on one help to make sure you can get the most out of this workshop.
No previous experience is required for this class as Emily will go from the ‘ground up’ with the materials and techniques so that you will leave with a drawing to be proud of.

All equipment and materials will be provided and are included in the cost. However a second price option includes a set of pencils and an extra board to take home with you. You may wish to bring glasses for close-up work if you need them.
