Learn to Draw | Kingfisher

This bright and colourful workshop in pastel pencils will see you creating a stunning Kingfisher in realistic detail and touchable texture.
Emily Rose is a professional wildlife artist and will guide you through the drawing from the underpainting – and why you need one – to those finishing details which look good enough to touch.
Emily teaches in short demonstrations followed by one on one help to make sure you get the most out of the workshop.
Some drawing experience is helpful for this class, (nothing ‘fancy’ but having confidence with your marks will be useful), however, you don’t need to have used pastel pencils before.
The Learn to Draw Taster | Tulip course in May would be good preparation for this workshop. Alternatively, you could follow one of Emily’s free tutorials on her website to get ready to create your Kingfisher.
All materials are provided for you so you need bring nothing but yourself and possible some glasses for close-up work should you need them!

All equipment and materials will be provided and are included in the cost. However a second price option of £100 includes a set of pencils and an extra board to take home with you. – If you wish to book the ticket with the take home kit you must book by Monday 5th July.
