Free Motion Machine Embroidery | MAYhem
with Gill Collinson
Saturday 2nd May 2020 | 10.00-16.00 | £60
Free motion machine embroidery is a ‘jump on in’ kind of course! It’s scary at first, especially if you are used to sewing on a sewing machine, but once you start you can’t stop!
Learn the art of free machine embroidery to make beautiful spring brooches. Gill will help you get over your inhibitions and fly free!
Use up your treasured scraps of fabric you’re not sure what to do with or rummage through our studio stash to find your perfect base cloth and sparkly treasures! Using stitching and layering techniques you can make beautiful, textured, intricate shaped brooches and celebrate spring.
All tools, materials, tea, coffee and biscuits will be available but please bring a packed lunch. If you have your own sewing machine we recommend bringing it, even if you don’t have a free machine foot.
