with Danielle Lummis
Saturday 29th August 2020 | 10.00-16.00 | £75
Calligraphy is the art of beautiful writing a skill that Danielle has mastered through hours of dedicated practice; she will share her abundant knowledge of calligraphy, the supplies and tools required and show you how to prepare and use them.
Brush Lettering is so much fun! On this workshop you will learn how to use a brush pen to produce calligraphy drills. With the strokes learnt you will then be able to create the whole lowercase alphabet in a brush calligraphy style. You will also experiment with using a paintbrush and ink which is a completely different style.
Brush Lettering is so versatile; you can write small and big just by changing the size of your brush pen or brush.
This workshop is suitable for a complete beginner or those wishing to refresh their skills.
Included in the price is a lovely selection of supplies to get you started and allow you to continue your practice at home. You are welcome to bring your own supplies too if you have them. You will need to bring your own packed lunch and refreshments.
