Enamelling

Cambridge Art Makers | Short Courses

Our enamelling courses are getting increasingly popular and we are delighted that Sheila is regularly able to join us and teach courses from beginner to more advanced enamelling techniques.

Explore and play with the art of enamelling. Wash and grind your own enamel colours, play with wires and metal leaf and create beautiful, delicate and bold pieces. Expand your knowledge of how to incorporate enamel as a decorative feature in your jewellery or small scale silver objects. Gain confidence with colour and explore more complex methods of creating pattern, shape and colour into metal work.

Check the individual course details for specific information on each course.

Ability levels are specific to each course, check you choose the right one for you.

All materials are provided. Kilns go off half and hour before the end of the class for cooling and tidy up time.

Testimonials

“I am so glad that Sheila provided my introduction to Enamelling. There was a great atmosphere and Sheila was so professional in sharing her knowledge and skills with us and your workshop an ideal venue. I do so hope that there might be a followup “Revisited Course” as I am keen to do more now that the seed is sown.”
